SLOW BUT SURE.—Even in these days of speedy transport there are still times when it is necessary to fall back on some of the methods used in the early days. There are not many teams of bullocks left in the country, but this combination is doing a job which could not be handled by petrol-driven conveyances or by horses. It is hauling material up a steep grade to the site of a new pipe line which is being installed by the City Corporation near Williams Creek.
