Ministerial The Minister of Industries and Commerce- (Mr D. G. Sullivan) will spend Monday and Tuesday of next week in Dunedin. . He will arrive by the express from Christchurch on Monday morning and will stay at the City Hotel.
Mr J. R. Luff was a passenger for Wellington by the through express yesterday. A British official wireless message from Rugby states that the Speaker of the House of Commons, Captain E. A. Fitzßoy, who is suffering from a slight chill, hopes to resume his duties in a few days. A Press Association cable message from Melbourne states that the War Cabinet has appointed Mr Frank Norton official artist with the Royal Australian Navy. Mr Norton was born in New Zealand 24 years ago. Mr D. C. Kidd member of Parliament for Waitakl. who was recently operated on for peritonitis at the Christchurch Public Hospital, is making a rapid recovery and is able to leave his bed for a short time each day.
