DUNEDIN SESSIONS j ALLEGED INDECENT ASSAULT Royland John Dunford was charged {at the 1 Supreme Court yesterday, beI fore Mr Justice Kennedy, with an alleged : assault on a male at Oamaru on November 5 of last year. There were alternative charges of attempting to commit an indecent assault and of common assault. _ Mr C. S, Thomas and Mr J. E. Farrell appeared lor- the accused, who pleaded not guilty to each charge. The hearing of evidence for the prosecution, which was conducted by Mr F. B. Adams, was not concluded when the court rose at 5 o’clock. The court will resume its sitting at JO o’clock this morning.
