FOUR TYPES FOR BRITAIN FLOWN ACROSS ATLANTIC (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Jan in It is learned in London that the following types of American aircraft are being and will be flown across the Atlantic to Britain:—The Lockheed Hudson, a long-range reconnaissance bomber for the Ccastal Command; the Boeing 817, a fo.ur-engined bomber, commonly called the "flying fortress"; the Consolidated two-engined flying boat; and the Lockheed Vega Venture bomber, which is a larger and faster version of the Hudson.
