SHELLED BY SUBMARINE
RADIO FROM BRITISH SHIP NEW YORK, Dec. 25. The Mackay radio announced that the British vessel Everleigh (5222 tons) radioed that she was being shelled by a submarine 58.36 deg north 21.58 deg west, 600 miles northwest of Ireland.
