Appreciation of the gift to the war funds of the United Kingdom of the proceeds of the sale of four trucks of fat cattle supplied by Mr G. Alley, of Katikati. is expressed in a letter received from the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir Kingsley Wood. The stock was handled by Wilson Meals. Ltd., which has also handled several other lines of fat stock sold during the past season for the benefit of the United Kingdom Treasury.
