BURNED BY FAT While playing in the kitchen of his home yesterday evening, a child named Lawrence Young, aged 17 months, who resides at 5 Walter street, Caversham. pulled a pot of fat over on himself and suffered burns on the face and neck. He was admitted to the Hospital at 6 p.m. A FRACTURED ARM A married man named Gilbert Beaufort. aged 40, who resides at 34 Union street, was admitted to the Hospital at 1.45 p.m. yesterday suffering from a double fracture of the left arm received when he fell while working at the mouth of the new railway tunnel at Sawyers’ Bay. SHOOTING FATALITY WEDDERBURN FARMER’S DEATH The body of John Devenney. aged 45 years, a well-known farmer, of Wedderburn. was found vesterday morning near his home with gunshot wounds in his throat. The body was lying near a fence and the gun was underneath. An inauest will be opened to-day at Ranfurlv.
