FAR EAST SPHERE
COMMON PROSPERITY JAPAN’S PROGRAMME TOKIO, Nov. 4. (Received Nov. 5, at 10 p.m.) The Cabinet Information Bureau announced a 10-year economic programme, embracing Japan, Manchukuo and China, and aiming at the construction of “ an East Asia common prosperity sphere ” under Japan’s guidance. Basically Japan will furnish technical and financial assistance, Manchukuo will develop her basic industries, and China will co-operate in exploiting her resources and developing communications and trade.
