WAR-TIME TRAVEL

SLOW JOURNEY FROM ENGLAND DUNEDIN DOCTOR RETURNS (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. Nov. 5. Some of the difficulties of travel under war-time conditions arc indicated by the time taken by Dr A. C. Begg, of Dunedin, in returning to the Dominion from England. He said he was three months on the way, and he was glad to be back. Dr Begg spent the last three years carrying out post-graduate work in surgery at Home. During that time he was attached to the staffs of various important hospitals in the Midlands and Scotland. He has seen plenty of Nazi aerial activity in that part of the British Isles, and has given surgical attention to a number of air raid victims Dr Begg said that the spirit of the people remained unaffected by the German raids, even in the case of those injured by bombs.
