BOMBERS OVER BRITAIN TWO RAIDERS SHOT DOWN (By Radio) DAVENTRY. June 27 For the third night in succession German bombers raided Britain last night, and two planes were shot down and a third seriously damaged One machine was brought down by a Hurricane .fighter on the south-east coast one exploded in mid-air when bullets from a Spitfire hit a bomb in the German plane, and a third was damaged by a Blenheim.
