• - LIGHT-HEAVY-WEIGHT TITLE HANHAM BEATS ALLEN (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON. June 27.' In a clever display of boxing (as distinguished from fighting), Cliff Hrnham (Waimate) won the Professional Light Heavy-weight Boxing Championship to-night by out-point-ing George Allen (Hastings), The men were well matched as to height, weight and reach, both standing over six feet in height. Hanham scaled 12st to his opponent’s list 9,}lb. Hanham owed his victory to the use of a good left hand, which he not onlyused straight to good effect, but hooked at. pace. He did most of the leading, but Allen caused many blows to miss by clever ducking and head weaving. He also took many blows while moving back. _
