COMPANY AWAITS FIXATION OF DATE WASHINGTON, June 15. (Received June 16, at 7 p.m.) The president of Pan-American Airways (Mr Trippe), in a statement to the press, said his company was ready to start the New Zealand airline whenever the Government fixed a date for th,e first air mail flight. He estimated that the inaugural flight would be made in 40 or 60 days hence. Mr Trippe conferred with President Roosevelt, but he declined to comment on the subject.
