HOSPITAL TRAINEES
ANNUAL REUNION GATHERING AT NURSES’ HOME The annual reunion of the Dunedin r hospital trainees was held at the - Nurses’ Home on Saturday afternoon. The ex-nurses were received by members of the present staff and of the Otago Hospital Board, and the chairman of the board (Mr J. W. Dove);’in a brief speech, welcomed the visitors, who numbered over 50. After members of the Student Nurses’ Association had read a play, a visit was paid to several displays which had been prepared. In one lecture room an instructive exhibit had been arranged showing recent advance's for the cure of the patient, such as oxygen tents and an iron.lung, while in another was shown the means of prevention of such maladies as tuberculosis and hydatid disease. ; Afternoon tea was then served, and the remainder of the afternoon resolved itself into a pleasant social » gathering. *
