SPANISH REFUGEES
ASSISTING THE ALLIES PARIS, Mar. 30, (Received Mar. 31, at 11 p.m.) The Foreign Office states that 6000 refugee Spaniards have enlisted in. the Foreign Legion, 56,000 have joined labour units, and 1400 are employed on French farms. The, refugee camps are almost empty. The Foreign Office denied reports from America that Spanish refugees; had been given the option to join up or leave the country.
