AUSTRALIAN LABOUR
OPPOSED TO WAR AGAINST SOVIET EFFORTS FOR PEACE DEMANDED SYDNEY, Mar. 24. (Received Mar. 24, at 7.30 p.m.) After a fiery debate the, Easter Labour Conference by 195 votes to 88 carried a motion opposing war against the Soviet Union and demanding that every effort should be used to bring about peace at the earliest opportunity.
