McLagan was re "elected president by 238 votes, the. other candidate, Mr T. Stanley, receiving 35. Other officers were elected as follows:—Vicepresident, Mr R. Eddy; resident executive, Messrs. Roberts and Walsh; trustees, Messrs Roberts and A. Black; delegate to the International Labour Office, Mr H. Campbell (Auckland); secretary/ Mr D. Cornwell (re-elected unopposed). Consideration of the report' and balance sheet was concluded, and the conference decided to lend £SOO free of interest, to the Government for the duration of the war and six months after. .«..». ■;.,?.
