WOMEN'S CRICKET
OTAGO v. CANTERBURY The cricket match between women's teams representing Otago and Canterbury will be played on the Oval today and on Monday, to be commenced each day at 10.30 a,m. The teams are as follows: Canterbury.—Misses M. Heaton (captain), E. Wise (deputy captain), T. Jackson, E. Dunn, M. Austin, E. Gough, M. Campbell. A. Nutall, J. Thurston, T. Garden, Mrs M. Havves, with Miss G. Goldsmith as twelfth. Mrs J. Gray is the manageress. Otago.—Miss M. Bortwick (captain), Mrs I. South (deputy captain), Misses P. Keen. I. Gaffney, M. Stuart, V. Moore, R. Sew Hoy. V. Johnson, T. Eckhart, M. Marsh and Mrs H. Atkinson, with Miss J. McDonald twelfth and Mrs A. Gaffney as manageress. Misses K. Eckhoff, C. McDean and D. Whitebourne were not available for selection. The umpires will be Messrs Whittington and Duckmanton.
