OPENING OF EXHIBITION
THE PUBLIC SERVICE HOLIDAY FOR WELLINGTON MEMBERS ‘(Special to Daily Times) WELLINGTON, Nov. 1. The Government has decided to grant a public holiday for all members of the public service in Wellington and adjacent districts as from noon next Wednesday on the occasion of the official opening of the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition. This decision was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr W. E. Parry) this evening. Members of the Cabinet will pay a visit to the Exhibition early next week prior to its opening.
