Cases Judgment by default was given for the plaintiffs in the following cases;— Westport Coal Company Ltd. v Stewart Pitt (Wellington) claim LJ 9s 6d. for goods supplied, with costs (£1 12s 6d): Dowie’s Dismantling Company v.R. Meredith, claim £2 ss, for goods supplied, with costs (£1 3g 6d); Otago Co-operative Milk Supply Company Ltd., v. R. Butler, claim £4 10s Bd, for goods supplied, with costs (£1 5s fid).
