MORE ARRIVALS (Special to Daily Times) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 30 A cold southerly gale made conditions unpleasant for work at Riccarton this morning There were plenty ol horses out, out most of them were given only useful exercise.
Full Back (L Robinson) was sent ovei qght hurdles. He travelled at a sound pace and lumped well till he reached the last flight where he dipped on landing, unseating r.if rider He has Improved a Lot with education, and H. Nurse should win Jumping races with him later on. North Island arrivals over the weekend included i H Jefferd, with Raka hanga, Baran, Areas and Khurja, and L G Morris with Disdain and Wings ot Song The Southland pair, Dark Flight and Gold Flight put in an appearance this morning.
