AUSTRALIAN WOOL
PURCHASES BY JAPAN TOKIO. Oct. 19. (Received Oct. 20, at 6.30 p.m.) The Consul-general for Japan in Australia (Mr Akiyama) has informed Tokio that as a result of his negotiations Australia has agreed to Japan buying between 250,000 and 300,000 bales of wool during the current season.
