SCOTTISH SOCIETY

The monthly social and dance of the Scottish Society of Dunedin was f hold in the Victoria Hall on Saturday night The entertainment, which war under the control of the Ladies' Committee, took the form of a “tartan night" everyone displaying a tartan emblem. The executive was piped in by the otllcial piper, Airdrie Stewart. The chair was occupied by Mrs S Hilt Items were given by the fol- ii lowing;—-Miss M. Caddy. Misse? ;j Moody, Miss B. Loan, the Dunedin ; Highland Pipe Band, Drum-sergean< G, Riley. Drum-corporal Robertson, ! Misses B, Brown, J. Brown, M. Biessel, and Master J. Millar. The nestesses for the evening were Mrs J. McKechnle and Mrs N. McPherson, who also distributed heather from Scotland. The i M.C. was Mrs R. Davidson.
