TROUT OVA
POSSIBILITY OF EXPORT (Special ro Daily Times) WELLINGTON. Aug. 14. " The work of stripping trout of their eggs for hatching in the State hatcheries at Rotorua and on the Tongariro River has commenced in several streams of the thermal district, stated the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr W E. Parry) to-day. "We are making efforts,' the Minister said, " to export to Australia and possibly to Suva some of the ova collected this season. We have first of all to see if we have sufficient ova for the restocking of our fishable lakes and streams before we send supplies out of the country."
