ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
BODY UNDER WHARF BELIEVED TO BE THAT OF MISSING MAN (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 14. A body, believed to be that of Walter George Duncan, who disappeared from the New Occidental Hotel on July 20. was found to-day under the wharf from which the Eastbourne ferry service is worked. INJURIES TO LEG John McVean, a young boy, who resides with his parents at 21 Erin street, Roslyn, suffered injuries to his left leg wnen he fell while roller skating yesterday. He was admitted to Hospital at 8.15 p.m. YOUNG GIRL SCALDED Irene Lombardy. aged one year and a-half. who lives at 42 Brown street, was admitted to the Public Hospital yesterday afternoon, suffering from scalds on the arms and face. She fell into copper of hot water.
