EXPULSION OF JEWS
BOHEMIA AND MORAVIA THE GESTAPO'S ORDERS PRAGUE, Aug. 11. The Gestapo has ordered the expulsion of the entire Jewish population of 60,000 from Bohemia and Moravia at the rate of 200 a day, who must go to Prague, where a committee is arranging their deportation. The Nazis are incensed at the Czech's sympathetic attitude. JEWS IN PALESTINE NON-CO-OPERATION PLAN LONDON, Aug. 11. The Geneva correspondent of the Daily Telegraph says the Mizrachi organisation, representing the orthodox wing of Zionism, is submitting to the world Zionist Congress next week a plan for non-co-opera-tion in Palestine, supporting the protests against the White Paper and proposing that Jews abstain from importing goods with the object of reducing revenue, boycott the postal services in favour of selfdevised means of communication, refuse subsidies, refrain from seeking Government ratification of their budgets, even if this entails foregoing rights to collect taxes, also urging the organisation of a common front against Britain. NAZIS PILLAGE SYNAGOGUE PRAYER BOOKS BURNED BRATISLAVA, Aug. 12. (Received Aug. 13, at 11.30 p.m.) Two hundred Nazis pillaged and flooded the principal synagogue. They burned Prayer Books in the streets.
