A CARPENTER'S DEATH
FALL ON FOOTPATH POLICE INVESTIGATION (Feb United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 13. Frederick James Joseph Harrison, aged 45, of Seatoun, a carpenter employed at the Exhibition, died in the Wellington Public Hospital at midnight on Saturday. He was taken there by the Free Ambulance from Seatoun at 7.30 p.m. He is believed to have been engaged in a discussion near the Scout Hall, Seatoun, and subsequently he fell on the footpath, suffering an injury which is believed to be a fractured skull. Chis, however, will not be known definitely until after the post-mortem examination which is to be made to-morrow As far as is known. Harrison was a bachelor. Detectives are investigating what occurred prior to Harrison's fall on the footpath.
