MOTOR CYCLING
SPORTING TRIAL The Motor Cycle Section (A.A.0.) held its sport trial on Saturday in fine but cold weather. Leaving the club rooms in Moray place, the competitors proceeded to the outskirts of Brighton. Here an excellent trials course had been picked out, but owing to the recent rain and snow, it was extremely greasy. A steep hill found most of the competitors in difficulties, few getting through, but all enjoying themselves. The rest of the course was not so bad, but it called for expert riding. The return journey covered the same ground, but a lot of it was down-hill work through the mud. The winners were:—T. Hely (lost 28 marks, Royal Enfield) 1, A. Schofield (lost 32 marks, Ariel) 2, S. Lindley (lost 38 marks. Triumph) 3.
