A professional wrestling contest at the Town Hall on Saturday evening between Lofty Blomfield, of Auckland, and Ignacio Martinez, the SpanishAmerican, was won by the former by one fall. FOSTER v. BOESCH Frank Foster, of South Africa, and Paul Boesch, of New York, will meet in the professional heavy-weight bout at the Dunedin Town Hall to-night. Bossch and Foster both have agility and speed that are surprising in men over six feet in height and weighing more than 16 stone. Boesch, after his arrival this season, took a while to work into his b est form, but his achiements in recent matchss have placed him with the best men in the country. If one line of attack should be blocked Boesch is always quick to switch to another, and there is shrewd ringcraft in everything he does, his plan of campaign being mapped out according to what he thinks will bring the best results against a particular opponent Foster, although he had his

first match as soon as he had completed his lonjs trip from South Africa, proved his quality right away. This bout should result in a fast and interesting: display of mat work. Further particulars are advertised. ' ;
