Seacliff.—Shaw; Anderson, Ruddlman; Milne. Scott, Montgomery; Ives. Fyfe. Dudman, Rodgers, Henderson. A first attempt by Nicholson from an awkward angle, failed, Paull securing to return to the centre, and Rogers scored. Mosgiel 1, Seacliff nil. He followed this up shortly afterwards with a well-taken header to give Mosgiel another goal. Mosgiel i, Seacliff nil. Although Mosgiel pressed for some time. Seacliff bustled them off their game, and k with Anderson ana Ruddiman displaying fine defensive powers, the Mosgiel forwards finish was weak. Seacliff staged .several attacks, but these lacked cohesion, ana the only likely movement was nullified when Ives shot wildly past from a good position. Towards the end oi the spell both Davidson and Rogers tested Shaw unsuccessfully with good shots, and half time followed without further score. '..... Even but uninteresting play marked the opening of the second spell. Shaw saved for Seacliff. with Rogers shooting strongly. Henderson wa- prominent on Seacliff's left Mosgie returned, however, and Nicholson lifted a high ball to goal, which Shaw nusiudeed and Paull cut in to nlace through the open goal. Mosgiel 3. Seacliff nil. In a lively rush Fyfe slipped the Mosgiel backs, but Steven recovered quickly to avert the danger. Seacliff held Mosgiel on, defence, but Hall, in goal. had ; little to do. C. After a spell on defence. Technical retaliated, but Ramage returned, Fleming again making a brilliant save. Offside play spoiled a. likely chance for Technical. Roslyn again brought play up the left wing, Fleming distinguishing himself with his good saves. A corner to Roslyn was cleared by Groves, who sent to Roberts,
