BADLY-FRACTURED LEG ELEVEN DAYS UNATTENDED (Per United Pskss Association) NELSON. Aug. 11. A story of misfortune and fortitude was disclosed when a miner from Anatoki was brought to Takaka last evening. The sufferer is George Kilmartin. aged 53. who had his leg badly fractured by a fall of rock in a tunnel he was excavating He managed to crawl 300 yards to his camp, but his alight was not discovered until 11 days later.
