A caucus of the Parliamentary Labour Party this morning passed the following resolution:- We, the members of the Parliamentary Labour Party, express our deep regret at the serious illness of the Prime Minister, our heartfelt sympathy with him in the trying ordeal he is undergoing, and our great satisfaction at the good progress towards recovery which he is making, and which we sincerely hope will be maintained, so that he will be able to resume his position among us at an early date. We further express our high admiration for his outstanding courage and devotion in the. worst hour of his Illness, and we are pleased to reaffirm our unswerving loyalty to him as leader of the partjr and Prime Minister of the Dominion. A resolution of sympathy was also passed with the Minister of Labour, Mr Webb, who is in hospital, and the hope expressed that he would make speedy recovery. The caucus expressed sympathy with Mr J. A. Lee in the death of his mother.
