DEPARTURE FOR AUCKLAND FUTURE ITINERARY UNCERTAIN (Per United Press Association; : NAPIER, Aug. 10. The yacht Faith, which arrived at Napier from the Chatham Islands last week, left to-day for Auckland with a crew of four, comprised of three Napier men and the owner, Mr W F. Marsh, of Dunedin. The yacht, which is of 10 tons, originally left the Chathams for Lyttelton, but was delayed by bad weather. A landfall was made at Castlepoint, and she came on to Napier. MAYFAIR THEATRE Another of the adventures of the wily Oriental sleuth, Mr Moto. and an exciting story of air transport and its attendant dangers, comprise the current programme at the Mayfair Theatre “ The Mysterious Mr Moto ’’ sees Peter Lorre again taking the title role and he is ably supported by Henry Wilcoxon and Mary Maguire The associate attraction is Sky Giant. a drama of the air. The box plans are at the theatre and the D.I.C. "YOUNG Dr KILDARE” Lionel Barrymore and Lew Ayres are teamed in “Young Dr Kildare. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s film version of the popular Max Brand characters of Dr Gillespie and Jimmy Kildare, which will come to the Mayfair Theatre to-morrow in association with “ Strange Boarders." “ Young Dr Kildare ”_ is significant as Lew Ayres’s third picture since his return to the screen spotlight, “Young Dr Kildare” provides Lynn Carver with her first leading role as the sweetheart of Kildare Jo Ann Bayers is seen as Barbara Chan - ler. the girl around whom the dramatic plot boils. Included in the supporting cast are Nat Pendleton Trumen Bradley Emma Dunn and Samuel S.
