WRESTLING
BOESCH v. FOSTER Paul “ Bombshell ” Boesch will make his reappearance in the Dunedin ring at the Town Hall on Monday night, when he will be opposed by Frank Foster, the South African wrestler, who wrestled here against Blomfield. Both of these men have appeared in Dunedin only once this year. Boesch is in strong demand from one end of the country to the other and apart from Blomfield, he has the distinction of being the busiest wrestler in the country. Since he arrived he has had a chance to work into his best form with the .result that he has not only provided the spectacular displays for which he is noted,, but has also achieved a good measure of success. Those who saw Foster’s local match against Blomfield were delighted with his performance. Not only does he make effective use of all the wellknown holds, but also he has variations which he has developed himself. Foster and Boesch are about the same size, and the bout should supply a full measure of thrills. BLOMFIELD BEATS WOODS (Per United Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Aug. 10. In a professional preliminary Syd Scott beat Gordon McDonald by two falls to one in an entertaining bout.
