SEA CADETS
PRESENTATION OF FLAG LADIES OF NAVY LEAGUE On Thursday last the ladies of the Navy League Executive presented a flag to the Navy League Sea Cadets. An impressive ceremony in the training hall was witnessed by the members of the League Executive and parents and friends of the boys. Mrs J- Sutherland Ross, wife of the president, made the presentation on behalf of the ladies. Mr J. Sutherland Ross, in the course of an address, remarked on the wonderful progress made by the corps during the first vear of their training. He also stressed the importance of discipline, which is part of the boys’ training land which they appeared to be learning most satisfactorily. > On behalf of the corps Commander Cutler thanked the ladies for their gift. Before the presentation Commander F. Fraser, R.N.V.R., inspected the corps, and afterwards congratulated the boys on their turnout and on their drill. There were about 40 boys on parade commanded by Lieutenantcommander W. Cullen, with Lieutenant G. Robb as second in command.
