MOTOR CYCLIST’S DEATH COLLISION WITH A CAR (Per United Press Association! NEW PLYMOUTH, June 7. Leslie Walter James Murray, aged 20, of Ngaere, died almost immediately from injuries received when the motor cycle he was riding collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction as it turned off the New Plymouth-Hawera road at Ngaere to-day. Murray, who was thrown to the roadway, received a fractured skull. The car was driven by Miss Wilhelmina Schumatcher. FALL FROM BICYCLF A married women named Margaret Watt, who resides at Fairview, Mosgiel, was admitted to hospital at 8.30 last night, suffering from a fractured left arm. She fell from her bicycle in Cemetery road, Mosgiel. INJURY TO HAND John Torrance, who resides at 9 Stone street, Roslyn, suffered an injury to his left hand when it was caught in a planing machine at the Roslyn Woollen Mills yesterday morning. He was admitted to the Public Hospital at 10 o’clock.
