A DRAWN MATCH CANTERBURY AND WEST COAST <Per United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, June 6. The match between the Canterbury and West Coast Rugby representatives resulted in a draw. 6—all. The ground was muddy after rain, and the ball greasy, consequently the game was confined to the forwards. It was a hard, even game, but unexciting. The points on both sides came from penalty goals. The All Black R. King was the best forward on the ground AUCKLAND'S SUCCESS WAIKATO DEFEATED 31—12 (Per United Press Association) HAMILTON, June 6. . A decisive win by 31 points to 12 was secured by Auckland in its annual Rugby match against Waikato at Rugby Park yesterday. Auckland scored three converted tries, one unconverted try, three penalty goals and a field goal, while Waikato did not cross the visitors' line, its 12 points being the result of four penalty goals. The weather was fine but cold, and there was a light northerly breeze. The attendance was estimated at 12,000, and was' a record for an interunion match at Hamilton.
