MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Otago Football Association was held last evening, Mr M. G. Mclnnes being in the chair. Canterbury Congratulated It was decided to send a letter of congratulation to the Canterbury Football Association on the fine exhibition given by its representative team and their win in the Jones Cup game, played on the King's Birthday. Auckland's Challenge The secretary of the New Zealand Football Association advised that June 17 was acceptable to the Auckland Association for the date of the challenge match for the FA. Trophy. A letter was also received from the Auckland Association asking that arrangements be made for accommodation for a party of 13. The following Otago players were selected to go into • training at the Gardens ground, commencing to-night (Wednesday), at 7.30:—A. Hall, A, Stenhouse, G. Nicholson. C. Skinner, W. Steven. W. Gilchris: (Caversham). Mr J. Gilchrist was appointed trainer. Transfers The following transfers were confirmed:—S. W. E. Clarke, from Technical to Northern; N. Gibson, from Maori Hill to Northern. The regrading of H. Bennett, of the Northern Club, from First to Second Grade was also approved. General A further complaint drawing attention to the long grass on the playing area and the lack of conveniences at the Mosgiel ground was received, and it was resolved that the matter again be brought to the notice of the Mosgiel Club, with a request from the association that the matter be given attention.
