LONDON BY-ELECTIONS
TWO HELD YESTERDAY (British Official Wireless) RUGBY. May 18. Polling will take place to-morrow in two London by-elections. In the Abbey division of Westminster, Sir Harold Webbe. leader <jf the Municipal Reform Party on, the London County Council, is standing as a Government supporter, being opposed by an Independent, Mr Carritt. At Kennington, where the Government majority at the last election was only 545, the candidates are Mr Angus Kennedy (Conservalive) and Mr John Wilmot (Labour).
