RETURNING TO BERLIN

NAZI MINISTER IN TURKEY MISSION NOT SUCCESSFUL LONDON, May 16. The British United Press Berlin correspondent says that ostensibly to report on the situation, Herr von Papen, Minister in Turkey, is returning to Berlin at the conclusion of the agreement between Britain and Turkey. This shows that he has failed in his mission to thwart the alliance, greatly to Germany’s annoyance.
