— EXCHANGE STABILISATION INCREASE IN THE FUND PARIS, May 17. (Received May 18, at 0.30 a.m.) M. Reynaud announced that the Exchange Stabilisation Fund had been increased from 2,067,000,000 francs at the end of October to 4.942.000. francs at the end of November, to 12,502,000,000 francs at the end of December, and 14.321.000. at the end of January. There were 6300 fewer unemployed than there were at the same time in 1938.
