MEETING OF WOMEN'S EXECUTIVE There were present at the weekly meeting of the executive of the Women’s Hockey Association:—Mrs Sonntag (in the chair). Misses Wilson, Mackie, Stevens, Warburton, Fairburn, Morton and Harley, and Mr W&1I&C6. Mr McLeod, umpire in the Seaclifl! district, reported on the first game to be played on Seacliff s home ground. —lt was decided to give Seaclifl a game every alternate Saturday, in- , stead of every third Saturday as arranged. Permission to use the University Oval was granted by the Otago Rugby Football Union for the seven-a-side tourney on June 5. A letter was received from Training College defaulting its B and C Grade matches.—lt was decided to play friendly matches between the other 'earns. Permission, was granted to the University A team to travel to Christchurch on May 24 for the interuniversity hockey tournament. A letter was received from the delegate on the New Zealand Women’s Hockey Association advising that the executive could not accept donations of cups or trophies for interprovincial fixtures A letter was sent to the Umpires’ Association asking what umpire* would be available for June 5. It was decided that a card system be adopted by which each umpire would record the scores as they were gained, filling in the final score and signing the card; this card to be sent to the association secretary before each meeting. A letter of condolence was sent to Mrs Ham, known to hockey players as Miss M. Adams, sympathising with her in the loss of her mother.
