ROYAL WEDDING
ITALIAN KING’S DAUGHTER CEREMONY NEXT SUNDAY ROME, Jan. 5. “ Handpicked ” dressmakers are embroidering silver Savoy crosses and golden French lilies on the 45foot train of a bridal gown. It will be worn by the King of Italy’s favourite daughter, Maria, at her wedding to Prince Louis of BourbonParma at the Quirinal on January 15. A bridal palace is being built at Mozambique, where the couple will spend their honeymoon, hunting and travelling. ' The wedding will be on a “ Hollywood ” scale, including 3000 guests. The bridegroom is related to many European royal personages, who will be represented.
