VON CRAMM RETIRING ENTERING BANKING HOUSE NEW YORK, Dec. 23. (Received Dec. 23, at 10 p.m.) Von Cramm. in a letter to Budge, reveals that he is retiring from tournament and Davis Cup tennis and intends entering a banking house. Budge, who expressed regret, said von Cramm was one of the finest sportsmen he had ever met. "Australia is thus the logical team to meet the United States in the 1939 challenge. They will be our most dangerous rivals."
