FORESTERS
The half-yearly summoned meeting of Court Enterprise was presided over by C.R. Bro. A. W. Stevenson, and all the officers were present, except the I.P.C.R. Bro. J. Benfell, who was on holiday. The Woodwards' report was again satisfactory, and the minute secretary reported having visited two brethren who had both improved A letter was received from Court Star of Canterbury notifying that a member of the court was keeping well. Two letters were received from Bro. Macfie, secretary of the dispensary, concerning the night charges of the all night pharmacy A letter from Bro. Craig, of Wellington, enclosed £1 10s for prizes for the member who introduces most members in the 12 months. It was decided to thank Bro Craig for his offer. It was decided to present the sum of £1 Is to Mr A. Foster, the caretaker of the hall. A grant of £5 was made to a deserving case. The secretary was instructed to pay all accounts that might come in during the recess, as the court would not meet till January 17. The trustees were instructed to wait on Dr A A. Reid respecting various matters in connection with the Social Security Act.
