GIBRALTAR'S KEYS
The ancient ceremony of handing over " The Keys " of the fortress of Gibraltar to the escort which guards Government House has been resumed there after a lapse of several months. The function, which is a weekly one, dates back to the early days of our occupation of the Rock. It has its counterpart in the ceremony of " The Keys" which takes place every night at the Tower of London.
