AIRCRAFT PRODUCTION
BIG INCREASE IN BRITAIN STATEMENT BY MINISTER (British Official Wirelessi RUGBY, Dec. 21, (Received Dec. 22, at 5.5 p.m.) The Secretary of State for Air, Sir Kingsley Wood, stated in the House of Commons that during 1938 the monthly rate of aircraft production more than doubled and was showing a marked upward trend. He added that this greatly improved position would be further improved in 1939.
