STATE LOTTERIES
COMMENT BY MR SAVAGE PROBLEMS OF GREATER IMPORTANCE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. " We have too many other problems of greater importance to think about,” declared the Prime Minister (Mr Savage) to-day commenting on the protest against a report that the Government was considering the establishment of a State lottery. This matter, added Mr Savage, had never been considered by Cabinet, nor was it likely to receive attention.
