BOOM IN SECURITIES
FRENCH BOURSE DEALINGS ASCRIBED TO SEVERAL REASONS LONDON, Dec. 20. (Received Dec. 20, at 11 p.m.) The Paris representative of The Times says securities boomed in an unprecedented manner on the Bourse. Rentes jumped three to six points and profit-taking was easily absorbed. Government stocks finished three to seven points higher. This can be ascribed to the easy passage of the Foreign Ministry appropriations, the absence of threats to France in Signor Mussolini’s speech and businessmen’s optimism with regard to the success of M. Reynaud’s four-year plan.
