LIGHTNING STRIKES HOUSE
WOMAN STUNNED BY FLASH STORM AT WOODVILLE (Per United Press association l PALMERSTON N„ Dec. 20. During a thunderstorm at Woodville this morning, lightning struck the bomt of Mrs E. M. Christiansen, who was preparing breakfast., She was stunned by the flash, collapsing over the table where she was found by her son, who rushed from the cowshed when the flash struck with an ear-splitting noise. Six panes of glass in the two kitchen windows were broken, spouting wai torn from the roof, and a veranda post was split at the top.
