An application from of Auckland Shipping and Stevedores’ Association for some rebate |b the berthing dues oh ships affected by the hold-up of waterfront work in November was, received by the Auckland Harbour Board, which was also asked to grant a remission of storage charges on cargo received on the wharves for shipment but unable to be Ipaded. ‘ A recommendation from the meeting of the board in committee was adopted stating that the charges levied against companies for demurrage and penal demurrage on outward cargo held up during the period should be remitted.
